Our Brave Sons was performed at College Hall in Worcester on 5th April 2014, and sought to remember the boys under the legal age of 18 that fought in WW1. Through a powerful, dramatic performance, lads from Worcestershire paid their respects and thanked them for their bravery and sacrifice.

Britain sent 250,000 underage soldiers into battle - a boy aged 12 even fought at the Battle of the Somme. Why did so many young men lie about their age and sign up?

Our Brave Sons was performed and devised by boys from Bishop Perowne CE College, Nunnery Wood High School, Hagley High School, Regency High School and the University of Worcester, with lead artist Dave McKenna.
